NaperVoice Audition Information

NaperVoice welcomes both experienced amateur choral singers of college age and older and trained, experienced professional singers to audition for this unique new choral ensemble!

Concert repertoire may be quite diverse depending on the program, including classical, world, musical theater, gospel, and vocal jazz genres.  The choir will raise funds for charitable organizations in Naperville and beyond through a unique “Concerts for a Cause” strategy.

NaperVoice actively supports efforts to achieve diversity, equity, and inclusion in matters of race, gender, and age.

COMPENSATED SINGERS

Are you a trained and experienced singer of college age or older in the western suburbs of Chicago who would like to perform for financial compensation in a new philanthropic choir based in Naperville, Illinois?

NaperVoice performs two concerts per year, one in April and one in November. Each concert is preceded by six Monday evening rehearsals for compensated singers and a Monday evening dress rehearsal.  Compensation for the six rehearsals, dress rehearsal, and concert is very competitive, with the opportunity for additional earnings through a generous percentage of presale concert ticket revenue. There is capacity for up to 16 compensated singers, who perform a portion of each concert as a separate smaller ensemble in addition to singing with the other choir members.

NON-COMPENSATED SINGERS

Are you an experienced amateur choral singer of college age or older in the western suburbs of Chicago who would like to perform with a nucleus of professional singers in a new philanthropic choir based in Naperville, Illinois?

NaperVoice performs two concerts per year, one in April and one in November. Each concert is preceded by nine Monday evening rehearsals for non-compensated singers and a Monday evening dress rehearsal.  There is no registration fee, but singers are required to purchase their own music and sell a minimum number of concert tickets.
